Header image won’t load – formatting.php error

    We are having an issue on our homepage that the header image won’t load. It seems to be the only image that won’t load, and the issue persists no matter what image we put there. Using the Inspect tool, we see this error associated with the div:

    <b>Deprecated</b>: ltrim(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($string) of type string is deprecated in <b>[...]wp-includes/formatting.php</b> on line <b>4482</b>

    We have been unable to find any other reason for the issue thus far. Is it possibly a problem with the theme?

    Because it is taking some time to hear back from anyone and this is having a significant impact on our home page, we have manually changed line 24 of header-image.php in library/template-parts. If you need us to change it back for you to do some testing, we can do that quickly. Otherwise, we’ll just look forward to a theme update with the fix.

    Not sure if anyone is even looking at this forum (no one is answering emails sent through the contact us on outthebox’s website either). But if anyone is looking, I just tried downloading the new version (1.1.71), and it did not resolve this issue.
