Header image won't display
-
Hello!
Let me set this up. I have two domains, theconservativezone.com and thebattletechzone.com. The second one is hosted in a sub-folder of the first (thebattletechzone.com is actually “theconservtivezone.com/tbtz”) Everything works as it is supposed to in theconservativezone, but I cannot get the header graphic to appear for thebattletechzone. Both are running WordPress 3.3.2 and Twenty Eleven themes.
In theconservativezone’s cPanel, I have an addon domain of thebattletechzone pointed to theconcervativezone.com/tbtz. I also have a redirect of theconservativezone.com/tbtz/ redirecting to thebattletechzone.com.
In the WordPress Dashboard for thebattletechzone, under General Settings, I have the WordPress Address set to theconservativezone.com/tbtz. The Site Address is thebattletechzone.com. I mistakenly had the WordPress Address set to thebattletechzone directly, but none of the graphics for the battletechzone’s dashboard would appear.
Up until now, I could get the header graphic if I went to theconservativezone/tbtz, but not if I directly accessed thebattletechzone, unless I went to tbtz first. But once I closed out the browser window and reopened, the same problem would occur. This only occurs for Firefox. If I use IE, all I get is the red “x”.
I have looked at the source code for the page, and the information for the header link is there. I have copied that into the address bar of my browser, and I can directly access the graphic.
If I save the html to a file on my computer, and open that, it works in both IE and Firefox.
I don’t want any reference or connection between the two domains. While theconservativezone/tbtz works, I want everybody to go to thebattletechzone directly.
What am I missing? I have not modified any of the PHP files, I have just been working with the Dashboard. Help! ??
Did I make it clear as mud?
