    Hey TT4

I forgot where to change the site ID image / Header image for the entire site. Do you have a hint?

    Thx

Hi @hebhansen – if you don’t have any SEO tools, or a Featured image set for the page – it is left up to Search Engines and Social Media platforms to infer the image to use (often the first image on the page).

If your blog is set to show ‘Latest Posts’ (and you can’t, therefore, add a specific featured image) I’d recommend installing an SEO plugin (like Yoast SEO or All in One SEO) which will allow you to set that image for the site/homepage as a whole.

I have “The SEO Framework” installed and I will manage the image from there…. I can see in Google searches, that it takes quite a while to burn through. Here I am talking about the icon in browser tabs (logo).

Regarding featured image. I can see my site shows featured image from posts (Maybe latest not sure). How can I overwrite this to have a global ID image for the site?

    Hi @hebhansen

When you go to “WP Admin > Settings > General,” you can set a “Site Icon” there. This icon will be shown in the browser tabs and Google Search.

Please note that it can take a while for Google to recognize this image and deem it safe for display on its result pages.
