I am new to WordPress and simply made page and menu updates to a small site. Everything is fine in Chrome, Safari, IE 10 Desktop browsers. What bothers me is that in IE 8 the entire header image is right aligned so that it’s almost completely off the browser. All you see is a blank header area and a sliver of the header image, over to the right.

Also, on Windows 8 using IE 10 Metro (where address line is at the bottom), the browser doesn’t show any header at all. It just starts at the navigation menu at top with the border so you’d never know anything was missing. Click to display it in desktop mode, and everything is fine.

What the heck is happening here? Suggestions please?!

    https://druminc.org/.

Didn’t know I shouldn’t post in more than one area. I’m new. Sorry.

Looks like you haven’t correctly embeded the flash header. Kimili won’t work outside the loop, so you can’t use that. You have to embed flash manually.

And, fix your code errors: [Invalid] Markup Validation of druminc.org – W3C Markup Validator. Scroll down in the validation report to see line numbers and source code.

Thanks so much. I actually just started on this website yesterday and simply made updates to 3 pages and the menu. Their previous developer is MIA so they asked for my help.

So, as I continue learning WP I will try to learn about Kimili, Flash Embedding and making the code updates which won’t be easy since I don’t know php well. But this is how you learn and the Validator certainly helps point out where the errors are.

    I appreciate your help…thanks!
