I’m using the Foodie Pro/Genesis theme with WordPress 4.3.2. My website is https://yupitsvegan.com/.

When AdBlock is not running, my site header displays normally, like so:

But when Adlbock is enabled, the header partially collapses and hides part of my image:

In attempting to diagnose the problem I also tried completely removing the widget containing the header ad from the site, but the AdBlock problem still occurs in that case.

Fixing this has become a priority for me. I used to have my email subscription box across the width of the screen above the header, but it was causing the header to be almost completely covered when AdBlock is running, so I had to move it to the sidebar until I fix this, resulting in decreased rate of email subscriptions.

Header image partially hidden when AdBlock is enabled

How are you inserting ads? The exclusion of an ad shouldn’t break your layout. Are you inserting ads manually?

I use AdBlock Plus and the page displays fine for me.

Try wrapping the advert in a span, assign the span a CSS class and define a fixed width and height. That may at least keep the blocked ad with a fixed box.

I was able to resolve the issue using an AdBlock detector widget and custom css rules. Thanks!
