I would like to add a full-width header image on my calendar page to match all of my other pages. I followed the instructions on this page (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/) and added a copy of /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/default-template.php to my-theme/tribe-events.
When I edit that, I don’t see any changes, even after clearing cache. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong – whether it’s a cache issue or if I’m not editing the file correctly, or if I’m putting it in the wrong place. Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks!

  • Hi @fragmentsofsleep,

Thanks for your interest in our products.

It looks like you are overriding that template correctly. Have you changed the setting for default template in Events → Settings → Display?

I would try copying over another template file like list.php, make some changes and see if the live page reflects those changes.

    Take care,
