Header image not working

    Using Customizer/Header area/Header image and uploading a jpg 1920×850 as recommended, all you can see is a very tiny fraction of the image. The same happens with any size image. How do I get a header image to show?

    It occurs to me that I am confusing Header image with Background image. The header image seems to cover the whole page, not just the header, and the backgound image is invisible behind the header image. Confusing!

    Same problem for me, but have you solved it? My header image (1920 x 850) shows up in the header but extremely cropped, I have no control over the size….

    Header image only shows in the header area but background image will cover the whole page background.
    Only in the header part the background image is hidden behind the header image. So header image can clearly visible in the header area.

    Hope your confusion will clear now.

    I think that our confusion is not cleared at all.

    It’s a over and over topic with no answer here that weaks this good theme.
