On my gallery site I am using a header image. Is it possible to add a link to the image so a visitor can get back to the Home page as is normal with a logo image? (I could not get the look I want using the image as a logo.)

    Hello,

    I’m afraid not.

The image you are referring to is the background image of the header so you cannot apply a link to that.

    Sorry.

I would definitely go back to using a logo instead as not only will the image be linked but also it won’t be cut off at the sides when the browser width is reduced (since the header image is a background image that covers the header area rather than a banner that is shown in full on all screen sizes).

    Thank you, Oliver,

When I used the logo I was not able to find a way to set it without top and side margins. The look with the header image is what I am after. You are right, of course, that on smaller screens, especially phones, only the center of the image is shown.

    I might try again.

If you try again, let me know and I’ll take a look at the margins for you.
