HEADER IMAGE ISSUES

  • Hi I have been trying to put up my own header image, however after I save and close it goes back to the default theme image. Please help!

    Your site is hosted on wordpress.com. These forums are for sites which are self-hosted (www.remarpro.com). However, there currently seems to be a problem with wordpress.com hosted sites. Please see this thread.

    Thank You, I understand the difference now. The issue has een resolved

    I am having problems with the header image. I resize an image from 3000 x 1000 to 666 x 444. (I know the ideal is 1280 x 444) but regardless of what size image I upload I get a screen prompting me something like ‘Select and crop’ and I cannot save the new header image without cropping it and losing some of the detail i want in the header image. The only explanation I can think of is the WordPress theme still thinks the image is the original size? Any ideas please?
