Header Image Height

  • I’m trying to make my header image taller. I’ve made a functions.php folder and changed the pixel specs there (child theme) which changes everything correctly in my dashboard but just distorts the mage on my site with no change to my height. I looked at the parent theme and there is a header.php folder which had code with the original pixel specs. Do I need to change that for it for the changes to show on my site?
    Please help

    OK for anybody having the same problems I’ve been having.
    The solution I found was to add “header.PHP” folder to my child theme. Then copy and paste that parent theme “header.php content into my new folder. Make the necassary pixel adjustments and like magic it worked!
