Header image disappeared

    I’m using Di Blog v. 1.1.0. I selected the checkbox ‘Hide header image’ for all of my posts, but now the header image on the home page also disappeared.
    All other pages are displaying the header image.

    When customizing the theme option, I’m only seeing the website title and tag line. Before, the header image was displayed with an icon to change it.

    Can you give me advice on how to display the header image on the home page again?

    Hi @sanneplatteau

    There is two options to manage header image.

    1. Appearance > Customize > Header Image. here this header image will appear on all pages.

    2. To hide header image from individual page, check: Pages > All Pages > Edit > Di Blog Options for this page > want to hide header image.
    This option will hide header image for only this page instead all pages.

    To hide header image globally, check option 1 and to hide header image for a page or post, please check option 2.

    in your case, seems you hidden header image only for a single page so please check option 2.

    Hi @dithemes,

    I used option 2 to hide the header image on specific posts. When I go to Appearance > Customize > Header Image, I see the header image on all pages except the home page in the preview window.
    My home page is not an actual page, but a link to the most recent posts (Settings > Reading > Your homepage displays: Your latest posts). Could that be causing the issue?

    Hi @sanneplatteau

    If home page is displaying recent posts then header image should appear on it because home page is not a static page and option 2 will not apply on that page. if you want us to check inside Dashboard, please create a temporary account and mail login details: hello [at] dithemes [dot] com
