• Is there a way to change the header image in any template through the wordpress tool bars or a plug-in or do I have to go into the coding thing? Or this only built into some templates?

  • it is inbuild into some themes, such as the wp3 default theme Twenty Ten for instance, but generally, you would need to adapt the coding of your header, or you might be able to achieve this with a plugin (i havent’t used one myself – but you could use the search within the wordpress plugin directory).

Thanks alchymyth – I will go back over to the Twenty Ten theme and look for it (what/where do I look) I think that I should be able to do this with my theme because I found another website that had my theme and I found and uploaded it. He had a different header (a veriation) He looks like he did some kind of tranparent overlay to get the effects. Can someone look at it?
https://www.tradingtop100.com is his site name. The original theme has the blue banner but somehow added the candles faded into the background and he is using a different font for his title.

    Thanks again
    Leslie
