header image and recent post display questions

  • I uploaded the recommended sized image for the header, which seems to render very well on the blog pages. However, on the homepage, it’s using an earlier version of the image and cutting off. What’s the best way to get the display right on the homepage, and on the blog pages? I can re-make the image to any size/layout, but I need it to display properly.

    My other thing I’m hung up on: I display her most recent post on the homepage using the latest posts block in wordpress. But, it’s not showing with the line breaks from the original post (see here: https://www.reesedixon.com/2020/01/persephone.html), which is important in creative writing. Any fixes?
