How did you remove this? Did you remove it from your server of did you disable it through the theme options?

In the customize options for the theme. I did not insert a picture.

Please add following custom CSS in your child theme’s stylesheet, or using a plugin like Advanced CSS Editor, for the sake of simplicity:

.flexslider img{
    display:none;
}
.home.page #front-page-content{
    padding-top:0px;
}

Just to add, I’ve had this problem before when I deleted the picture from my media gallery first without removing it in the settings of my theme.

If you did that you can also simply add a new logo from your media gallery and remove it in the theme settings.
