• I’m using the twenty ten theme. The standard header image size is 940 by 198 pixels. The woman who designed my blog set the header up to be 940 by 350. When I loaded it the first time, it gave me an option to publish in that size rather than cropping it to the standard 940, 198. Now, it isn’t giving me the option. It automatically crops the image to the standard size and then when it’s published, it blows it up to 940 by 350, leaving it wonky and warped. I am really new to the blog stuff and far from a techie so basic would be beautiful.

  • I do not know what is wrong, but I can tell you what I would try. First, I would delete any and all copies of your header image, then be sure there is no cache somewhere supplying one. After that, I would upload the header you want and try again to see what happens. Then if that did not work, I would use FTP to upload a new file to replace the cropped header and try to sneak it on in that way. Those things might not work, however, and my next move would be to hire a Developer to make things right.
