Header Featured Older Post => not compatible

    Hi,

    I have installed the latest version of this theme on my PErsonnal site
    wp.rizze.com

    I have also installed the latest version of JetPack Plugin to enable:
    – featured content.
    – infinite scroll

    If I enable just scrolling, I do get “Older Post” button
    If then, I enable a tag (for instance header), I do not have 12 post shown and I lost the Older Button.

    Seems that on my side, these 2 functionnalities are not working.

    If I go back to Settings -> Reading, I see that the setting concerning Infinite Scroll is not tickable and says in french that it has been deactivated has :
    – either the theme does not support
    – or there is a footer widget

    Therefore, I remove for tests all widgets on footer and still the same issue.

    On your demo site, everything seems to be working fine.

    Waiting for your return, as this theme is for me a MUST.

    Hi Alex, just to make sure we’re on the same page: to add Infinite Scroll support to a theme requires that you add a function to the theme. Have you done that yet? Here’s a tutorial:

    Just a heads-up that the best way to make changes to a theme is to use a child theme, so your tweaks won’t be overwritten when updating the theme. Here are some guides in case you haven’t made one before:

    My apologies – I just noticed that Pictorico already adds Infinite Scroll support in the file inc/jetpack.php.

    Let me do some testing and get back to you.

    thank you for your return,

    before asking this question i did multiple tests.

    as you can see on my site, I do have already infinescroll activate.

    At present, I removed the capability to add the super nice slider but as soon as I add it, I lose infinite Scroll + I see only 11 post on the normal presented 12.

    Just to be clear, once you tag a post so it appears in the featured slider, it no longer appears in the main blog stream below – i.e. as a square within the grid on the homepage.

    A post appears only in one place: either the slider or the main blog stream.

    Could you please try adding a few more posts that aren’t tagged for the Featured Content slider? We’ll see whether the IS option begins working as it should.

    I understung right know.

    The very important part of your comment is :

    I was expecting my post to be present on both content : featured slider & list of posts

    There is no bug to conclude and I close this issue.
