• Hey,
I am using GeneratePress theme and polylang plugin to add translated pages on my site. The issue come when I add any translated page, The Header Disappears on from that page.

I Contacted hosting support, they said that the issue is from theme side.
Can anybody help me with this issue?

    Waiting for the response, Thanks.

    Hey @yingscarlett ,

    https://progb.net/

This is the URL with header,
    https://progb.net/af
and this is the URL which is completely different.

    Hi there,

have you checked with Polylang? As it looks to be related to how its handing translated pages.

    hey @diggeddy ,

No I haven’t because I’ve been using Polylang for a long time now with different themes and haven’t faced any issue. This is the first time I’m using it with generatepress and now I’m facing this issue.

It looks like on the page in question, some of the menu items are missing, the menu items are controlled by WordPress, GP doesn’t interfear with that. If you swith to another theme, do all the menu items show correctly?

If not, please reach out to the translation plugin’s support.

If so, please let me know, then we need to do some more debugging ??

Polylang is already installed in some of my other websites, which use different themes and it is working fine there. The issue comes when I switch to GP.

We have lots of users using Polylang and we have not received other reports on this so I don’t believe this is theme related issue as David suggested.

    I would recommend:

    1. Disable all plugins except Polylang to see if the issue still exists.
    2. If it does then activate a Twenty series WP theme (not any themes) to see if the issue occurs there.
    3. Check with Polylang to see if they can offer any advice – they will know that GP is absolutely compatible with Poiylang.
