• I am experiencing an annoying issue with the Astra header. It seems that it loads the mobile menu on the desktop and then disappears. However, it causes a CLS issue (0.5 CLS in Page Speed), resulting in not passing CWV:

I am using WP Rocket and Cloudflare cache, and I have separate cache files for desktop + mobile turned on in WP Rocket (see this thread).

Any idea how to resolve this once and for all? I’ve been experiencing this for more than a year (sometimes, the theme works fine, but sometimes, this issue starts to appear). I don’t want to deal with it anymore.

  • its a well known bug and a massive flaw with this theme, they know about it also, many others have had the same problem, thats why only 2 of my websites now run astra for exactly this problem, shame as a great theme otherwise.

Yeah, I thought so. The funny thing is their support recommends downloading a plugin that will preload some resources… ??

Anyway, I turned on Minifiyng CSS in the WP Rocket and it seems it fixed the problem for now. I will keep an eye on it.

Hi guys, sorry for the delay.

Whenever our user has CLS issue, mostly, it’s related to the optimization. Cache, minify, etc. If you are using any plugins on your site that do those things, please try to disable it. If it fixes the CLS issue, I am sure it will, then you can reconfigure that plugin, so it won’t cause such an issue.

Please let me know if I can be any further help, otherwise @pminarik, please mark this thread as Resolved.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
