Header changes not showing up

  • HI all,

    I am a writer, not a programmer, so forgive me if I don’t use all the appropriate vernacular. I am running a site using the premium Ares theme. I recently upgraded the theme to v 2.0 and lost all the 468X60 ads that are supposed to appear in the top right corner.

    A friend of mine went into the editor in the admin area and changed the php to try to get the ads up again. However, after changing the header code in the editor, there are no changes to the site.

    Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

  • Make sure you’ve cleared any caches – browser and server. If that doesn’t work, you’ll likely need to contact the developer for help — as these forums don’t support commercial themes.

    Let me just ask you this, if you change the header code in the editor in the admin area, in theory, that should make the appropriate changes on the actual site, right?
