• Hi, the title pretty much sums it up. I have a shadow on the bottom of my FIXED position header right now, but I only want it to show up when the user scrolls down the page and when he scrolls back up, the shadow will disappear. Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks- Joe.

  • the shadow does not disappear for me. If i scroll to the bottom and back up, the shadow remains.

What browser are you using? What version?

and what CSS did you include to get the shadow there to begin with?

All that I have right now is a static shadow under my blue header. I used the ‘box-shadow: 0 0 6px;’ property in CSS under my ‘#header #searchbar’ selector. I am trying to get it to only appear when the page is scrolled and disappear when returning to the top.
