  • it depends on the width and the template, and the actual width may vary slightly with the browser. on paper though, you have:

    2 col, narrow => 590px
    2 col, wide => 750px

    3 col, narrow => 770px – 180px = 590px
    3 col, wide => 980px – 230px = 750px
