• Hi, I’ve been working on a website for a company and we recently transferred the pages of the redesign on to the main live site. I’ve noticed that every once in a while, the header menu as well as other templates that I have saved on the site will revert to default alternatives without warning. This can be a real issue because the header menu that I made has a lot more to it than the default header. How can I fix this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Do you have a cache plugin?
Did you update version numbers for the stylesheet or scripts that were modified?

I do have a cache plugin, I’m using WP Super Cache. All of my plugins are up to date though

You need to clear the cache. The WP Super Cache plugin is doing its job.
When I asked about version numbers, I was not referring to your plugins. I meant inside the stylesheet or scripts that were changed. Wherever they are loaded, there is usually a version number used. When the version number changes, the URL for the that resource changes, so the browser will cache the new URL instead of using the old URL from its cache. It forces visitors to get the new version. (that is if the loading is done correctly, using version numbers)
Since you have a cache plugin, you need to look at its options to determine if it will pick up the new versions or if you just need to clear its cache.
