Header and Image link issue

I have customized the theme called MACE and only have two issues to finish up. There is a small gap under the very top image(where logo ect are) and the menu that I can’t seem to fix and I want to link the large image on the home page to another page but do not see how to do this in the theme editor. Any advice would be great! Here is the link to the website as it stands now.
