Header and footer – Cart and Checkout TT4

With so many themes out there it’s hard for most apps let alone Woo to adapt or integrate. Also, if the theme you’re using isn’t set to call Woo then it’s not going to happen.

That’s where customization comes in or you find an eCommerce theme that is already prepared like Storefront or one of those that is already Woo ready.

WooCommerce, by design, does not automatically adopt the header and footer template parts of your theme upon installation.

This is to ensure compatibility across a wide range of themes and to provide a consistent experience for the user.

Thx for clarifying guys. So how do I change my default header and footer in a block theme and in this case default WP?

What I want is the same, that changes across my site when edited, and is never overwritten by Woo at upgrades. Thx

I have copied my haeder and footer blocks into Checkout and Cart and visually it looks the same.

I can see sort of an idea in a simplified header and footer on these pages for less distraction. On the other hand, I have before shuffled various headers and footers across a block theme site, and I will not go there again.

I mark as solved, but please Woo concider if generic H & F should be default and if you wish a seperation, then the individual sets that up.
