The latest update that I did 10 minutes ago brought total chaos. On several websites ALL plugins have been disabled after I activated some function that is suggested after the plugin update. Although I clicked dismiss in the top banner after update, it still leads me to suggested actions regarding hardening and few more. After activating some of them ALL, I repeat ALL pluging were DEACTIVATED on several unrelated website. All plugins are back but i really do hope that all the plugin settings are retained. Something is really really wrong with this update that is compatible with WP 6.1 CHECK URGENTLY!

@sardelich thanks for reporting your issues. Sorry you ran into problems with this feature. Which feature did you enable caused the plugins to deactivate? Then I can investigate what might have caused this.

Burst statistics. Option 1, hardening does nothing, as soon as I installed Burst Statistics all other plugin went to deactivated state…Only 2 plugins remaining active are SSL and Burst…

@sardelich So sorry for the inconvenience. I’ll see if I can reproduce it somehow. The plugin has been tested by 2500 beta testers, haven’t heard this before!

Possibly this is a compatibility issue with another plugins. What other plugins do you use? Then I can install these as well, and see if I can reproduce it.

The combination of these plugins caused the issue. I am running WP 6.1 and Sahifa template

I doubt its the template since on few other sites templates are different, but plugin are more or less the same…

We can also exclude WP Fastest cache, since I am running other caching plugin on other sites, and they also had issues with plugins being deactivated.

I’ve been able to reproduce the issue, but haven’t narrowed it down to a specific plugin or cause yet. Thanks so much for reporting it. I’ll keep you posted.

@sardelich I have found the cause. The optimisation code which ensures that only Really Simple SSL is loaded when the Rest API loads, causes the “activated plugins” list to contain only these plugins during activation.

It is very strange nobody has encountered this issue before, but thanks to your input I was able to find the cause. An update will be released shortly.

The fix can be found here, if you want to try it:

I have the very same issue. All plugins were deactivated and I ‘ve lost all styling on a website. Only text and no images. I would really appreciate if can get info on how I can fix it. I am not sure that I can delete plugin without any problems related to SEO.

    Hi @pavlovskayam4,

Sorry for the trouble this bug caused. The 6.0.3 version fixes issue.

If you re-activate your plugins, the problem should be resolved. Hope this helps!

    Hi, @rogierlankhorst
I’ve updated to 6.0.3 but I havent got my site back. It seems that I’ve lost all pictures. I activated Elementor and Elementor Pro one more time. But is did not work. Could you please give me a ‘to do list’ to fix this. Thanks

@pavlovskayam4 if you activate the plugins that were deactivated, what is the issue with the images you have exactly? Is the path not correct? Can I see the domain to view the issue?

    (@pavlovskayam4)

@rogierlankhorst I’ve disabled all hardening features (new) and I’ve got my site back. There is smth wrong with the new update. Thanks for your support anyway.

@pavlovskayam4 glad to hear your site is back! Thanks for your feedback. Did you enable any hardening options apart from the recommended ones? That can narrow it down a bit for me.
