• Is there any way to have registered users pay to post WordPress posts and/or pages.

Ideally, I would like to create a site whereby users pay a small fee and can then create and publish one single new page/post in my WordPress installation.

They would be allowed to make unlimited edits to that page but they would have to pay the fee again to be allowed to create and publish another page/post.

Can anyone offer advice on how this could be achieved?

  • Did You find some solution for this?

I did find easypaypal plugin but it is working just with paypal and have some other disadvantages like: you can not add credit manually for some users, and don’t have moneybookers option.

Moneboookers is needed for Europe users, and I will surely have lots of users which still don’t have monebookers or paypal so they will transfer money over post office or bank transfer. Because of that I also need manual option of adding credits.

Anyway, I also need some better plugin, so if someone find solution…
    pjalease share.

    Thanks.
    Andri

This really sounds more like a custom plugin that someone would commission someone to build, rather than something that’s available freely. The part which allows users to only access e.g. certain categories or certain functions can be controlled by e.g. ‘Access by Category‘ (not sure if 2.5.x+ compatible)and/or the Role Manager plugin.

Maybe this could be used for managing payments? WP E-Commerce.

    I found https://www.doshdosh.com/get-paid-to-blog-automate-blog-post-selling-with-the-wordpress-bankroll-plugin/ .

But something does not seem right. There is talk about a free version and a download link. But that does not work. And then no one responds to requests for an answer.

Has anyone tried this? Can these people be trusted?

And by the way, the link in Mosey’s post caused high risk attack on my computer that Norton blocked.

@polcham: Sorry to read about your experience! Which link was this? To the best of my knowledge these are all valid sites that I’ve linked to, so I was also very surprised to find that Norton had blocked it! Please can you let us know which link was the cause for concern?

    Thanks!

    Mosey,

The link to WP E-Commerce was the one blocked. Today it opened with no problem.

@polchamdirector: Thanks for the update. I have to admit sometimes the security softwares are a little over-enthusiastic!

polcham – wp-bankroll is not updated for wp2.5 and up (although i rigged it so it works, albeit not fully functional)

If you go to https://www.ReviewPluginForWordpress.com There is a version 2.0 that will be out in April 2009 that will allow for what you guys want to do. Moneybookers support coming in May 2009.
