Having trouble with Search Results page. Can't get correct results to display!

Having trouble with Search Results page. Can anyone help me with a code snippet and example of how the search.php template should be coded to display the correct results?
I’ve tried a few different solutions to fixing this or even testing to get the correct results. I created a new search.php template by copying and pasting all of the content from the file in Twenty Tweleve theme then renamed the one in my existing theme so it would use this template instead. This didn’t help me to display the correct results.
Next, I tried to recode my search.php template without using query posts to see if I would have a different result. I still wasn’t able to get the results I was looking for that I was seeing on the back-end of the Swiftype website.
Could anyone possibly copy and paste the code for a basic search.php template so I could look at it and see where things might be going on. I’m really spinning my wheels on this one and I’m not sure why this isn’t working. My drop menu in the search is working perfect, its just my results page that isn’t working correctly!
Is it possible that doesn’t is missing from my functions.php file? I know its supposed to work seamlessly in the back-end of WordPress which is why I’m kinda lost. I installed it correctly and indexed my pages. Everything looks great on the Swiftype website and on the dropmenu.
I’d be extremely appreciative if someone could help me take a look at my live website and try to help me out with the correct coding. That’s about all I can think is wrong at this point.
I’ve been looking around for solutions to fix the search on a client’s website for a while and this is the best plugin I’ve found. I would really love to get this fixed because I’ve put a good amount of time into this and I’m pretty stuck.
Thanks a bunch in advance!

Hint: The search bar is hidden to the right of the dropmenu for the isotope sorting using display: none. I did that so anyone could go back and unhide it for testing.
