    Hello

I’ve been using Advanced Ads for some time now. And it’s been great and works perfectly.

But there is something I want to do but I couldn’t do it. Which the Topic Title suggests, manually inserting Ad on Post List.

I’ve read and followed the tutorial but still can’t manage to get it work.

I tried to use PHP code using my placement ID, but the Ad won’t show. I also tried to uncomment global $wp_query; too, but it still doesn’t work.

My theme files don’t have archive.php, so I use index.php, which I think is similar to archive.php since it has a have_post() function.

Since I don’t know anything about code (I just basically copy and paste). I believe there is something wrong with the way I insert the code, but I don’t know what and how.

    Please kindly help me.

*I’m sorry if this topic has been asked.

    Thanks.

    Hi momotaro990,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I checked your website and noticed that you inject AdSense ads on dedicated placements in your Minecraft tutorials category.

Is this the website you are referring to and are you going to place other ads than AdSense there or have you already achieved what you tried?

    Best regards,
    Joachim

    Hi

Yes, there are already ads on the post list. I use In-Feed Ads with Adsense In-Feed placement for that. And it works.

What I wanted to do is to change those In-Feed Ads to Display Ads. Sorry for not mentioning earlier.

Yes, this is the website I refer to. And I still can’t change the Ads yet.

    Hi momotaro990,

This tutorial is explicitly intended for WordPress developers. We recommend using Advanced Ads Pro’s Post Lists placement for users who have difficulty customizing and inserting the code according to their site.

I will ask Thomas to take another look at your problem. However, I can’t say exactly how soon he will do that, and I don’t want to promise you that he will solve your problem. In this case, I suggest consulting a developer or using Advanced Ads Pro.

    Best regards,
    Joachim
