Having trouble installing this theme as localhost

  • I’m getting the following error when I preview the theme from my control panel.

    Warning: Creating default object from empty value in E:\dev\wamp\www\Azi\wp-content\themes\goran\inc\customizer.php on line 21

    Any help would be wonderful.

  • Do you have debugging set to TRUE in your wp-config file?

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);

    If so, you can set it to false to suppress the error. In the meantime, I’ll ask our developers for more information about this warning.

    Hi Robguy21 – after some testing and investigation we think this error might be specific to version 5.4 of PHP, since we were unable to replicate this in any other version, including PHP 5.2 and 5.5. We think it should be safe to ignore, as long as everything is working normally.

    Same issue; running PHP 5.5.14 at MacOS. WP 4.1.1.

    Thanks for the report, Lex. Our developers say this warning is safe to ignore unless it seems to be causing any other issues.

    The only issue is that I am unable to make the site logo image work (I spent the whole day in this task), wich I think is the root of the problem.

    Do you have Jetpack active? Once it’s installed and activated, you should see a spot to upload your logo under Appearance > Customize, in the Site Title, Tagline & Logos area.
