Having Trouble Installing Flex-Slider Function of ZeeTasty Theme
-
My site is https://www.chezpierrepersonalchef.com. I have just updated to the PRO ZeeTasty theme, which is supposed to have a slider function. In the theme folder, there was a CSS sub-folder which contained custom CSS for the flex-slider.css. This is the only folder that did not exist in the previous Free Theme version. I installed it into my Custom CSS plugin, which did not work. I put it into the Custom CSS box in the Theme Options page, and I even uploaded it on the server side as part of the Theme folder.
I’ve had no luck getting the Slider to work. I installed Responsive Slider plugin, which the Theme calls for in it’s folder. I added multiple slides, and then tried all the above methods for inserting the CSS. The plugin also asks me to enter a .php in the theme or a short code on the page or a post that I wanted the slider on. I tried putting the .php into the front page theme template .php, and I tried putting the short code on the front page, along with putting it in custom CSS just in case.
I’m at a loss. The page looks great, it says I’m using the PRO theme, but yet I don’t have the features. Can anyone help please? Thank you!
