Having trouble getting Slideshow to work

I got the plugin to work once, but I don’t know what I did to make that happen.

Is there a visual step by step Slideshow tutorial somewhere? I’m a photographer not a “coder”.

My built-in Cherry Framework slideshow has quit working for any NEW posts, so I thought I would try this. I was using WP 4.6 what the issue showed up. I had it changed back to 4.5.3 and it’s still not working.
