• Hello There

I have my blog https://gastromessiah.com/ running for the last 1 month and have been getting a fair amount of views and 9 articles have already been published. So I decided that it was time that I apply for adsense and so I did following all their norms and policies yesterday. Now, a few hours ago I found that my application was denied due to the following reason:

Login Only: During our review of your website, we found that the majority of pages on your site are behind a login, or there is restricted access. Please note that we will not approve applications for login-protected pages, as we are not able to review their content for acceptance into the program.

After this, I have already looked into all the nitty-gritty of all their policies but could not come to any conclusive ways to resolve this issue. i realize that they want me to make all my pages available, whereas, my blog is an open one with access to everyone. It does have the registration option active, but people can only register as subscribers. That’s all! I am currently at my wit’s end, and hence I believe the experts here at www.remarpro.com can help me settle this issue. So I am looking forward to it!

    Best Regards

  • Get rid of the initial newsletter sign up so Adsense can access the pages. When they machine-check your site, that’s all they see.

Thanks for that…Will get on with it and then get back…:)

Just to be sure, If i put the plugin in disable mode for the time being, will that work? Or do i have to disable the whole plugin? I m using Displet Popup plugin…Plus, will it hamper crawler activity on my blog once adsense is activated?

Thanks…It really helped…Although I still need to add more content to my blog to get it approved from adsense…

Adsense will approve ANY site they can access that meets their content guidelines -regardless of the amount of content. You may want to check in with the adsense forum and ask there.

Sadly I think the amount of content matter to them…at least it does for asian countries like India, Pakistan and China. What’s more, this is the reason adsense has given for denying my application…

Insufficient content: To be approved for AdSense and show relevant ads on your site, your pages need to have enough text on them for our specialists to review and for our crawler to be able to determine what your pages are about.

To resolve this issue, please work through the following suggestions:

    – Make sure that your pages have sufficient text – websites that contain mostly images, videos or Flash animations will not be approved.
    – Your content should contain complete sentences and paragraphs, not only headlines.
    – Ensure that your website is fully built and launched before you apply for AdSense – do not apply while your site’s still in a beta or “under construction” phase or only consists of a website template.
    – Place the ad code on a live page of your website. It does not have to be the main page, but test pages that are empty except for the AdSense ad code will not be approved.
    – Provide a clear navigation system for your visitors so that they can easily find all of the sections and pages of your website.
    – If you’d like to monetize YouTube videos, please apply for the YouTube monetization program (https://support.google.com/youtube/bin/answer.py?&answer=2490020). Note that blogs and websites that contain only videos will not be approved.

As soon as you’ve made the necessary changes, we’ll be happy to take another look at your application.

Later I went to some forums and blogs regarding the same, found out that various people have various viewpoints…Some say you need at least 10-15 posts/pages rich in written content…Some say 30+ posts or pages…Just don’t get it really. Don’t know why, maybe they are denying me since i have too many pics per post…Who knows…Will be glad if somebody can give me a clear idea here…
