Having Several Issues After New Installation

  • I did not want to start a bunch of topics so hope I can list them all here. I just installed WP last night. I’m trying to create an artist site, so I knew right away I would need a Music and Video player. I installed 3 plugins

    My 1st issue, these errors below are showing up on my Home page

    2nd issue, even though I have a music and video plugins, I’m bot getting the option for music player or video player. They are both links. While the music link opens and play, the one for the video download when someone clicks on it.

    #3rd issue, the widgets at the bottom are in 2 widgets and when I look in my widgets 2 and 3 are empty so I don’t know where they are coming from. If I drop something in widget 1, it shows up instead in widgets 2 and 3. for example, the calendar. I dropped it in widget 1 and it shows up instead in 2 and 3 but not the Home page but the Music and Video Page

  • Revert to Twenty Eleven theme and see if you still have problems.

    I revert back to Twenty Eleven, the 2 errors are gone. The double meta is gone. i still don’t see the icons to load music and video to a Page.

    Keeping Twenty Eleven in place, now reactivate all plugins and see what happens. If it helps, activate plugins one by one and see which plugin causes problems. You may also try to reset your permalinks to see if it helps.

    Does not help. very frustrating since I can’t figure how to add a music or video player to a page. It seemed simple enough to add the plugin but it’s not showing up when I need it.

    to add music/video try mediaelement.js plugin of wordpress. also tell the name of your website
