Having serious problems with WISE CHAT

    I have it running on two different installations of WP…One is the newest 4.4.1 and I believe 4.4.

    I keep getting a fatal error, the chat room still works. It just locks me out of the back end of my wordpress.

    Says an error on line 97 of the wice chat container php.

    Thanks for reporting this. Could you please paste here the error message so I can fix it?

    Yeah, let me re install it. It takes about 2 hours for the error to happen.

    That’s the error it’s throwing. I’ll have to uninstall it for now. I use the chat for my radio show.

    It still works, I just can’t access the backend of my WP. I log in and it completely locks me out of the dashboard.

    Both wp installations are 4.4.1 with the newest version of your plugin running as shortcode on a page.

    There is no custom CSS either. I have several plugins running, but I can’t imagine they’d be interfering. Most of them are security things and both sites have different plugins.

    Common ones are Blubrry Powerpress, Akismet, Wordfence, Simple Page Sidebars, Jetpack (of course) and facebook video embed.

    Did you make any modifications of the source code of the plugin?

    Is there a file “WiseChatChannelsTab.php” in wise-chat/src/admin folder?

    I made not changes…I went with the straight forward install.

    I had to uninstall the plugin for now as I couldn’t make any posts or page changes with it on. I hadn’t heard back quickly and needed to run the site without it.

    However the installer unpacks it it how it installed. I am eagerly awaiting a fix as I loved the plugin.
