• I’ve been using your older version plugin for several years, and just found out the other day you’ve released the new 2.0 version. I installed the new version on my site, but quickly noticed several problems:

All of the old codes no longer worked, it seems.
1.) Member page no longer worked as the code became broken.
2.) Author box no longer linked to user page.
3.) Login form no longer worked as well, and I could not sign in.
    Screenshot: https://prnt.sc/hglquz
4.) Also, Um-Captcha no longer worked, but I’ve found out that all extensions were updated, so that one is no longer a problem.

Because I could not sign in, I had to restore a backup copy of my site. Now, my current issue is that image upload is no longer working.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Now working!

I now have 2.0 installed. What I did differently was upload the new ultimate members and captcha via FTP while still logged into the site. When I did this, the UM links did not break, or at least I think that’s what happened.

However, I am now working on a new issue:

In menu, I have created a custom link MEMBERS AREA with # for url. For sub-menu’s I’ve added: Account, MyNews, Members and Email Subscription to show only for logged in members for all member roles. But, this menu is not showing on front-end for me. I’m not sure what’s wrong. It’s supposed to show in secondary menu.

    2nd Issue:

For subscriber role, I’ve checked: Force hiding adminbar in frontend? for Subscriber role, but admin bar is still being shown to Subscribers.

    Hi,

I am still having issues. These are the issues:

1.) In menu, I have created a custom link MEMBERS AREA with # for url. For sub-menu’s I’ve added: Account, MyNews, Members and Email Subscription to show only for logged in members for all member roles. But, this menu is not showing on front-end for me. I’m not sure what’s wrong. It’s supposed to show in secondary menu.

2.) I would like to use Ultimate Members login form only, and not the built-in wordpress login form at all. In the old plugin, this was easily set, but I do not know how to set that up in 2.0.

3.) I’ve configured settings for when someone logs out of the site, it takes them to the homepage. But for some reason when someone logs out, it takes them to the in-built wordpress login, logout url. But, if you log out on front end of the site, it works like its suppose to. The in-built wordpress login logout is getting in the way of a few things.

I think those are all of the current issues.

Are you able to assist me?

Hmmm! Looks like I’m going to be ignored for sometime longer on this issue.

New Issue: I’m trying to upload an image for a user from my administrator account, but the image freezes in crop screen. When it does work, the image comes out blurry. I was going through the same thing yesterday, but I had to log in as user in order for the image upload to work. Today, that strange hack is not working.

How are these spammy registrations getting passed Google recaptcha?

Its Been 3 Weeks And Issues Still Have Not Been Addressed:

Please fix this, or tell me something. No need to ignore me.

I’ve installed the latest version of UM, and still have the same issues + a new issue. Google reCaptcha found in extensions is now not enabling. I Enable it, add my details, hit Save Changes and then form becomes blank again.
