Having problem to create manual excerpts for portfolio posts

Hello,
I’m have added manual excerpts to my content pieces. However, they are not showing up when I publish the post. How can I fix the issue?

Hello there,
It seems the manual excerpts do not appear for your portfolio posts.
To make them display, please do the following:
1. Create a new page.
2. In the page, insert the Shortcode block.
3. In the Shortcode block, type in[portfolio include_type=name-of-project-type-you-want-to-show]. For example, you could insert[portfolio include_type=book-reviews].
4. This page will now act as the portfolio page for the project type you have selected. You can add this page to your site’s menu as usual.You can learn more about using and customizing the Portfolio Shortcode here: https://wordpress.com/support/portfolios/portfolio-shortcode/.
