    Dear Community,

If you’re having issues with this plugin (backend and/or frontend) after updating to WP 5.5 or above, please follow the instructions provided below.

    Summary:

Most issues are fixed by simply replacing the plugin’s current built-in Bootstrap JS file (v3.3.6) with the latest Bootstrap JS file used by WP (v3.4.1).

    Instructions:

    (1) Download Bootstrap JS v3.4.1 (zip file) by clicking here.

    (2) Unzip the downloaded file, open the JS folder, and place the file titled, “bootstrap.min”, on your desktop.

    (3) Using cPanel or an FTP application (e.g., FileZilla) follow the path given below to identify Bookme Pro’s file titled, “bootstrap.min.”

    Path:

    /wp-content/plugins/bookme-pro/backend/assets/bootstrap/js/bootstrap.min

    (4) Replace the file identified in Step (3) with the file set aside in Step (2).

    Special Note:

If your site is hosted by SiteGround, do not use their UltraFast PHP. Instead, use their Standard PHP (7.4.X and above). Using SiteGround’s UltraFast PHP will break the frontend of the plugin.

Hope the above helps. If not, post your issue here and we’ll try to help you.

    Cheers!

    Dear Community,

    Issue closed.

Too bad this plugin is no longer supported by the developer. Once fixed and customized, it beats the big hitters – like Bookly – hands down.

    Cheers!

    Dear Community,

if someone is struggling, that the plugin isn’t creating any service. It’s maybe, because your WordPress Prefix is too long. (Was my case.) I used this article to change my prefix:
    https://www.bettertechtips.com/wordpress/change-wordpress-table-prefix/

Afterwards I removed the plugin itself, all db tables of it (named %bookme_pro_%) and all entries within wp_options started with bookme_pro_%. Next a fresh install of the plugin and it worked to create services.

    Dear Community,

maybe you can’t progess to the third step in the calendar form named “details” after you have clicked on a time slot. You’ll mainly discover an error in the dev console of your browser. (F12 in Chrome)

The error looks like the following:
    GET https://<domain>/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=bookme_pro_render_details&csrf_token=000a31ce89&form_id=6043e55a57e87&page_url=https%3A%2F%2F<domain>%2FBooking%2F&add_to_cart=true 500

    Do the following:
Deactivate all plugins in one run you have installed – except BookMe Pro.
Turn on one plugin after another and test after every activation, which plugin produces this dang side effect.

In my case “Visual Portfolio, Posts & Image Gallery” by nK was the problem. In case I didn’t needed it anyway, I removed it and BookMe Pro worked again.

    Dear Community,

One more for the list …

This plugin is NOT compatible with PHP 8.X

If you’re using this plugin and decide to migrate from PHP 7.X to 8.X, your affected web pages will break (they will be blank).

    Cheers!
