• Hi guys,

I am having some very odd issues with a group of about 12 plugins, but can’t seem to work out which plugin(s) are causing the grief.

    https://LoCostMarketing.com

All of a sudden I kept getting the following error messages when trying to activate certain plugins:

HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error)

I deleted all of my plugins, and started to reinstall and activate them one by one (which was a big job with about 60 plugins)

I have done this twice and had no problems going in alphabetical order until the plugins starting with “S”. The plugins starting from “S” to “Z’ would sometimes cause errors, and other time would activate with no problems.

The problem is though that after many hours of deleting and reinstalling, I can not pin point as to why this is happening, nor can I work out which plugins are to blame (or if it a site wide issue).

Sometimes some of the plugins activate and work with no problem, and other times I get the error message above.

It could be that two or more plugins are incompatible with each other, but I can’t work out which ones.

    Does anybody have any ideas?

  • Is it a hosting issue rather than plugin? Hosting security??

Possibly, but that doesn’t explain why most of the plugins work with no problems.

I have been told that it is some sort of configuration issue – such as permissions or out of php memory… due to server permissions.
