• Just finally finished updating to WP 4.5.2. Last element I was testing was the FS Contact Form and it does not seem to be working properly.

Deactivated/activated, uninstalled then reinstalled the plugin, reconfigured all the settings and still is not working.

When I submit on the form, everything seems to be working right on the frontend, site confirms the form was sent, redirect works fine and I even got the confirmation email. However, the form does not actually hit any of the inboxes I setup to the form.

    Any help?

What I mean by that is that I do not receive the request sent by a user. I tested the form myself using a different email I have.

I filled out the contact form as a user and then got a confirmation email saying that it was received.

However, as the admin, I do not get the request/inquiry to any of the emails I setup wit the Contact Form.

    Thanks.

Hi, thank you for clarifying further your issue. Please read the following documentation and if this does not help try the following documentation.

    Hi, thanks for the documentation.

Ir reviewed everything and my settings seem to be all correct.

I went ahead and sent a test email through the “Tools” tab as stated int he documentation, it confirms the send but still nothing is hitting my inbox. I’ve checked all spam folder and still nothing.

    Please help!

Hi,have you spoken to your Host about this issue? Can you confirm that e-mails can be sent to your e-mail account from your server?

Yes I did and everything seems to be working fine from the host end.

Could it be possible that the email addresses I have setup does not match the domain of the website?

Why is it that the user gets a confirmation email once the form is submitted but the admin does not receive the email?

Hi, yes that could be what is causing your problem as per the following documentation.

LOVE this plugin – so versatile yet not burdened with silly additions. Thanks for making it.

I am experiencing an issue when a form is submitted. The form submits fine and an email is processed/received, however the web page displays this message, “Notice: get_currentuserinfo is deprecated since version 4.5! Use wp_get_current_user() instead. in /var/www/www.xxxxxxxxx.com/htdocs/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3658”

@prutkowski thank you for reporting this deprecated function. The plugin developer will investigate further this finding.

For the time being until this is fixed you might like to disable the following feature Enable sender information in email footer. located in Advanced -> Advanced Email Settings.

    Regards

    4.0.43

    (23 Jun 2016) – Fix: wp_get_current_user error after wordpress 4.5.

Please note that I had very similar issues. I had NOT used the return path on my sites hosted via Bluehost and everything worked fine. I had not received a form request in a few weeks and figured it was simply the summer lull. But troubleshooting showed that it was not getting through DESPITE the fact that the test emails were (sent to a wide range of addresses)

    The configured settings that worked:

-Return path: enabled, both fields filled out. This had to be a same-domain email.
    -Footer info: disabled.

Confirmed across three sites and five forms on Bluehost.

This has been driving me crazy on several sites where I have used this plugin. I have tried everything mentioned above with no success. Until now, that is. I was lucky to get a great support person at HostMonster and after an hour and a half what fixed it was going into the php config section of C-pannel and changing the php version to 5.4 (basic). A php version had not been assigned. Only use 5.4 basic if you only have one website on the hosting account. It wouldn’t work with 5.4 (Single php.ini). This was a great relief as I have six sites failing right now and maybe others that don’t know yet. Hope this helps some of you.

@namaste364 that is good news to hear and thank you for sharing. I am sure your solution will help many with the same problems.

I would also like to add that the current PHP version running in your server is out of date. Please view the following URL php supported versions. It is important that your server stays up to date for security and vulnerability issues from arrising in the future.

    Kind regards

5.4 was the only one that worked. However, it’s not working again today so it wasn’t a permanent fix, unfortunately. Tried other versions of PHP but nothing is working.

Strange thing is, some sites are working, some don’t at all and another one where some get through. It seems that sites with the basic form are okay, whereas those with a lot more fields are not working.

So, on one site there are two forms. One short and one long. The sort one works and the longer one does not.

I would love to see a fix for this. I always get clients to make a donation and have myself, on several occasions, donated as I know it takes a lot of time to support this.

For example what plugins do you have installed in the site that has a form with many fields and does not work? Or what fields have you added to a form in a site with two forms and one works and the other dose not work.

    Thank you
