Having issue with vendor login page in Dokan

  • Hi there,
    I am using electro theme with Dokan for a Multivendor ecommerce project for my country in western africa. I have installed Dokan and electro theme locally(bitnami) for testing before going live.
    I have created Vendor form with Dokan shortcode and it worked perfectly for vendor registration.

    But i am having issue with vendor login form as Dokan do not provide any shortcode for that. After research on internet, it is said that the Woocommerce login form is also for registered vendors.

    But it is not working for me. I have tried so many times. The error i am getting is like this
    ” Error: The password you entered for the email address is incorrect”

    Is it because we’re testing locally that the registered vendor can’t log in ?
    Did any got this situation before ?

  • Hi wpdoss123,

    Try to rule out if there is any conflict coming from other plugins by deactivating one by one or switch to default theme.

    Furthermore, since you are using a premium Multivendor plugin, I think it is best to contact the developer of this plugin as I believe they are the right person that can help you with this.

    You can also check their documentation, perhaps, that is a common issue in their plugin.
