Having issue with auto status switching of a subccription

Hello ??
If a client places an order and does not pay, it gets assigned a subscription. when he tries to pay again, the system says he has already an active subscription and we need to manually cancel the order.
I am using third-party payment method and if accidentally tab was close and payment was not confirmed so when I try to reorder that subscription, I get the message that You already have an active subscription.
