I’ve been running my website for many, many years. In the past, whenever I publish a new post, an e-mail would go out with it. This was great because I don’t have a regular posting schedule and it would alert my readers about a new post and bring them to the site. In addition, there were some aggregator sites that got notified so they could post a link to my post.

I installed a new theme a month ago. It was a bit of a blur to get it all done and customized. However, since doing so, I have published two posts and no e-mail went out each time. I had readers asking me why they didn’t get an e-mail, and I’m not sure. I, honestly, don’t know what caused the e-mail to go out in the first place in the past, nor do I know what setting I can click to turn it back on, nor do I know where that list of subscribers lives and whether it was deleted during the theme update.

Does anybody have any knowledge about this? I’d like to get it resolved before I publish my next post.
