Having ASE activated disables all automatic update options.

For some reason the moment I turn ASE on it removes all of my options to enable or disable auto updates. It even removes the filters for it. I have not enabled that feature.

System: Latest WP, Latest ASE, everything updated

Do you have Disable Components >> Disable All Updates enabled?

If not, how do you know it is removing all options to enable / disable auto updates… and removes filters for it?

    Hi, thanks for the reaction!

I do not have Disable Components >> Disable All Updates on, its disabled.

The reason I know its removing the option to auto update and removing the filter function. Is because its no longer there! Gone! And when I disable the plugin, guess what comes back? The auto-update function!

I’m not sure what’s going on here, not all our systems with ASE have this, but all of them are on the latest update, really weird.

That’s really weird indeed. I’m guessing you are speaking of the auto update and filter options on the Plugins listing page?

Do you have any other plugin that disable updates? Or maybe code snippet that does that?

Could’ve been the Hide Admin Notices from a previous version of ASE. As there are no new reply for almost two months, I’m marking this thread resolved for now.
