• Greetings,
I’m having an issue adding the megamenu with the quadmenu plugin in the GeneratePress theme on this website https://test8.brickcontrol.com/

1 . When I set dropdown width to stretch dropdown width, when the menu bar is in normal mode the background stretches full but the columns only show a maximum width of the size of the menu bar and not the entire screen as it should be, as you can see on the image below

    Normal Mode Menu Bar

    2. But with the above setting in fixed mode, the background and columns of the dropdown megamenu stretch completely as you can see in the image below.

    Fixed Mode Menu Bar

I need the menu bar in normal mode to work as in fixed mode. Because if it works I would buy the premium version and use this plugin to manage my mega menu. What can I do to fix it?

Thank you in advance for your help,

    Carlos Silva

  • Hi there

I can’t see that QuadMenu is active on your website.
Please activate so I can check it.

In order to achieve full width dropdowns, you need to have a full width menu navbar. Dropdowns cannot extend width of navbar.

Menu navbar is not full width on your website -> https://snipboard.io/xeZX7r.jpg
note that dropdown acquire same width of menu navbar

You need to set QM to be displayed full width. In order to achieve that and maintain same design, you will need to remove logo from theme, and upload it again on QM options panel >> menu theme >> menu
