Having a full screen image with title and description

    Hi,

    Right now nextgen uses the full screen to display the pictures. When title is displayed, part of the picture is covered. Is there a way to show the title and description below the full picture? I also would like this to be the default view that opens. That is: people see the title and description right away without clicking somewhere.

    @stefan-m – The description can be shown by using the “captions” template but if you also want the image “title” to be shown you will most likely need to create a custom template (I would recommend copying the “captions” template to work from).

    Thanks for the quick reply. I used the captions template but this shows the captions in the thumbnails. I would like to see it below the image in full screen mode. Maybe I try to configure it at the wrong place. I have tried to set up the template under basic thumbnails.

    @stefan-m – If you are looking for the caption in the Lightbox Effect you will need to choose one that displays it.

    Try one of the following, they all show the caption:
    * Lightbox
    * Shutter
    * Shutter 2
    * Thickbox

    Ehm, yes. Thanks. But they all look ugly =:-). I prefer your lightbox effect. Maybe there will be versions that allow to configure it by using templates.
