Having a Directory integrate with imagemap

To start — great plugin! Everything is working great…I just want to take it a step further, and was hoping you could give me some insight.
I want to have the map be a site plan for a shopping center. The map will go at the top of the page. Below it, there will be a directory…with all the names of each store. When you hover over the store name, the map should highlight the store location. Likewise, if you click on the store name, you should see the pop-up description of the store.
