having 2 comments functions on the same blog

I want to run a normal comments function on posts from the index page of my blog (which display in page.php). However I also want to use a review plugin elsewhere that utilises the comments function, but want this to be seperate.

Does anyone know if there is an easy way to do this or if the comments feature is a preset that cannot be duplicated in this way??

I hope that makes some kind of sense!
