    Greetings;

We use Spiffy to provide free public seminars.

I’d like to be able to provide a compact list at the top of the page of all the seminars we are giving this term. So they don’t have to page month-by-month to see what we are offering.

“Upcoming Events” would seem like an obvious choice.

But, at least in my experiments to date, Upcoming Events does not show events that are occurring in the current month.

    Use case:

    Using shortcodes
    No custom CSS
WordPress and Spiffy up-to-date as of 7/26/2016

    A page with both

    [spiffy-upcoming-list]
    [spiffy-calendar]

    Empty calendar

Create two events. One occurring this month (Test1), another occurring next month (Test2).

    Examine page

    Upcoming Events only shows Test2
Test1 appears in the full calendar below upcoming events
In the full calendar, move forward a month
Test2 appears in the correct place in the full calendar.
    Upcoming events only shows Test2

Am I doing something wrong, or is this WAD?

Is there any easy way to change this behavior?

    Thanks
