Have to re-enter password for every page and post?

I updated the password plugin to the latest version and now users have to enter the password on every page or post they go to. It used to be you could sign in the first time and then navigate to another page or post in the blog, but now they are prompted to sign in again.
I have this plugin installed on a multi-site set up. It is not network activated though. Just activated per blog.
Any suggestions?
