• What ‘Feed’? At the absolute base-level, an Instagram post has two (2) elements. The image posted and the test/comment/caption that accompanies said image. Right? I mean, forget about display/format options like no. of rows/columns, background colors, icons, multiple account IDs and the like – sure they can be Pro options, I get that. But to make including the caption… the TEXT that goes with the image in every post… a ‘Pro’ option is just dog.

    Hey @owenlenegan,

Thanks for your feedback, we appreciate it. While I certainly respect your opinion, based on our early research, and on our ongoing interactions with users, being able to control the number of photos/columns in the feed and being able to customize the look has proven much more useful than including captions in the feed, as the vast majority of people want to display a grid or row of photos just like on Instagram (like so). I understand that a small subset of people will want to display text captions next to the photos in their feed, and for those people, we have that option available in our Pro version, or there may be another free plugins which is a better fit. Unfortunately, this is one of those situations where we’re unable to please everyone with which features we choose to reserve for our Pro version and which ones we include in the free version. As much as we’d love to, we’re not able to include every feature in the free version due to needing to be able to generate some revenue to allow us to continue to support and develop both the free and Pro plugin long into the future.

Thanks again for your feedback, and if you have any other issues or questions at all then just let me know.

    John
